Rather than having a box of bulbs sitting on a shelf, General Electric produced this porcelain finish metal box for service stations to keep them in! It is equipped with a latch on the side so they could easily slip a lock on the box if needed. Inside the door is a paper list of current model cars (1927 to 1931) and the Mazda bulb numbers for the headlights, dome lights, and stop lights. Some peeling has occurred on the paper label over the years. The porcelain box looks amazing with just some minor chips in various places, mainly the top and door edges. One mounting bracket on the back is broken, and the other is bent over. The gloss is great on this century old piece and it displays very nicely. 19503-RTP
