Let’s take a look at this fantastic National Ice Cream shadowbox display! The centerpiece of this display is a handheld fan with NIC’s mascot, a young lad licking an ice cream cone, inscribed “Don’t say ‘Ice Cream’, say National Ice Cream, it means so much more”. The heavy paper fan is rare, especially with these sharp colors and great graphics. Adding to the display are nine NIC cardboard standups placed below the fan. These standups were premiums given to children during the 1930s and featured their mascot. Each one looks impressive, with only one missing color on his hat. The shadowbox measures 16.75 inches tall by 11.75 inches wide by 2 inches deep. The paper backing on the reverse side features a copy of the fan’s back, which has been torn from handling over time.
