Whew! Time capsule alert! This beautiful original Valvoline Motor Oil sign is dated 5-60 and produced by Allen-Morrison in Lynchburg, Virginia. Sharp colors on both sides and impeccable gloss make this a solid keeper and one you will not have to upgrade. Typical small chips around the outer edge, this sign retains the original brass grommets that allowed it to hang in a sidewalk frame outside the service station, attracting attention. Two small chips are on one side, with slight color discoloration on the other. There is some crazing in the paint finish along the bottom edge, with tiny chips.
