Roy Besser was a prominent American illustrator best known for creating a series of iconic print advertisements for Pepsi-Cola during the 1950s. This paper billboard poster measures 83 inches tall by 41.75 inches wide when fully displayed. It is in new old stock condition and has never been publicly displayed. The advertising displays a classy, well-dressed lady in a soda fountain (complete with a heart-backed chair), with the slogan “Stay Young and Fair” above her. She holds a Pepsi cup in one white-gloved hand, while the other rests on her hip. A bright pastel pink background features the iconic Pepsi-Cola bottle cap logo in the lower right corner. The lower-left corner has a small tear, and the paper has folds from the supplier’s shipping. The sign is marked “Amalgamated Lithographers of America” in the lower-right corner.
