Visions of the 1950s-era kitchens flood my mind as I describe this pair of Mr. Peanut Vinegar & Oil cruets. The pair stands 7.25 inches tall by 3.25 inches wide, measured across Mr Peanut’s outstretched elbows. On each top hat, an O or V is marked, designating Oil or Vinegar. The pair is complete, with the original stoppers and cork attached, and in great shape. The Vinegar cruet has four chips around the hat brim and two on the base. One large one measures 1.75 across the front, with a small one in the back. The Oil cruet has two chips around the hat brim, and two chips along the base edge that wrap around the backside. This cruet also has a small chip on Mr Peanuts right hand. The colors on each one are sharp, and the facial features are colorful.
