Right at home in a general store or pharmacy, this Ex-Lax thermometer was sure to grab your attention when you needed to decide which laxative to use. It has the recognizable Ex-Lax logo at the top, with “the chocolate laxative” underneath. The thermometer is in the middle with “keep regular with” and the Ex-Lax logo at the bottom. The porcelain area around the thermometer is chipped slightly, and the thermometer is loose in the housing. It also appears the thermometer is not working. There is some chipping around the top and bottom mounting holes, along with a chip on the side corner to the right of the thermometer area. A few small chips are on the back edge of the sign where it rests against the wall. The top mounting hole has some discoloration in the porcelain, and two scratches are in the finish at the bottom near the Ex-Lax logo. It is marked “Made In U.S.A.-A7-M27B” at the very bottom.
