My how times have changed! When this sign was used in the late 1940’s many people smoked, so hotels, restaurants, and other buildings needed this No Smoking sign to be mounted in doorways and entranceways to let customers know the were not allowed to smoke in this area. Today it seems taboo to smoke anywhere but your homes and vehicles. This porcelain sign has a flange mount at the top, and measures seven inches tall by eighteen inches wide. Some slight chipping has happened on the outer corners and the edges, along with the flange portion. The gloss is super nice on this porcelain sign and it looks amazing for the age.
