Prestone Anti-Freeze produced these 36-inch porcelain thermometers during the 1940s. The bottoms of the thermometers featured different slogans, which were displayed at service stations where Prestone was used. This thermometer is the rarest of the issued ones, featuring the Magnetic Film slogan on the bottom. It reads “with Exclusive Magnetic Film…Prevents Rust” in the red oval. Along with the rare slogan, this Prestone porcelain thermometer is in impressive shape, with only some chipping around the upper and lower mounting holes. The finish is glossy and free of glaring imperfections. You will not find a nicer one, so don’t sleep on this beauty! 21056-QPPP
