Glostex Products produced this salesman sample bench seat for automobile dealers to show off the lifetime woven plastic seat cover in hopes that the customers would choose to have it installed in their new or used car. It has a fabric tag that states “You are riding in style on a Princess Lifetime Woven Plastic Seat Cover Exclusively Manufactured By Glostex Products, Inc. Chicago 47 Illinois” plus stamped on the bottom of the seat “For Display Purposes Only”. Customers could feel the plastic and see exactly what they were going to get once they chose Glostex. It is in great shape with some minor wear on the outer right corner, some water staining on the very bottom, and an inch tear on the outer left corner.
