This clean new old stock 8 ounce tin dates from the late 1950s or early 1960s and contained “Pure Spot Remover, a product of the Pure Oil Company. Designed to remove grease and oil spots, plus chewing gum and tape, from clothing, the spot remover is “petroleum naphtha.” The tin measures about 4 1/4 inches tall by 2 1/2 inches in diameter and is in excellent condition with a couple of small scratches and some paint loss on the lid. 16610
