This is a Drunkard’s Path Pattern Quilt. Hand pieced and quilted in small clam shells and outlines. Backing in a muslin. It contains seventeen pieced blocks in shirting patterns and cadet blue cloth, alternating with solid blocks of burgundy mourning fabrics. The quilt dates between 1890 and 1910 with 6 to 7 spi, and originates from Missouri. The size is 63 x 78, and the condition is very good and unwashed. These are some small age spots on the back, which could be soaked out with the fabric fragile wash which I will include with your purchase. 8548-WPP
