This ultra rare cherry showcase is a double tower counter top model is marked “John Hess – Maker – Dubuque, Iowa” on two nickel plates, and “Dixon Borgeson & Co – San Francisco Cal.” on the center nickel plate. The showcase has two mirror backed doors on the towers and three mirror backed fold down doors on the bottom. The mirrors have been added during its lifetime, but the hardware on the doors are original, down to the milk glass knobs on the back. The front tower glass looks to be original, and has been etched “Days of 49”. On top of each of the towers, it has a painted stencil “Dubuque Showcase Factory – John Hess, Prop. – Dubuque, Iowa”. Lights have been added to the towers by drilling holes in the top of the towers. The nickel corners are in great shape with some minor marks from use. We feel this showcase has been refinished during its lifetime, and looks amazing with some minor wear. Measuring 67 inches long by 40 inches tall, and 28 inches deep, it will hold many items of your collection. This item will require a 3rd party shipper or pickup.
