Rare Coca Cola Gold Filled Watch Fob

Manufactured by Schwaab in Milwaukee in 1907, this rare gold filled brass watch fob has an image of a pretty young lady holding up a glass of Coca Cola on the front and is inscribed “Drink Coca Cola In Bottles 5c” on the back. With the leather strap the watch fob measures about 5 1/2 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide and is in excellent condition with most of the gold filled surface worn down to the brass base metal on the front and back. This and other Coca Cola watch fobs are from the Thom Thompson Estate. Mr. Thompson collected for over 50 years and was a Coke Bottler himself. He received a “Special Thanks” in Allan Petretti’s Coca Cola Price Guide as follows: “Thom has always been my number one supporter. Ever since the first edition, he has unselfishly offered his knowledge and collection to help make this book better. Thom and Frances are among the countries top collectors. This book wouldn’t be what it is today without their help.” This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to add a piece with such history to your collection. 16486-71OPP
