First established in the 1920’s, Remington Tires is not normally on the tip of your tongue when you first think of tires, but they have been a value leader for the past century! Marked “A – M 5-73” in the lower right corner, this sign was produced by Allen Morrison Sign Company in May of 1973. The Allen Morrison Sign Company was based in Lynchburg, Virginia and one of the largest sign manufacturers on the east coast. This Remington Tires tin sign has some great colors and has embossed letters on it, giving it a small 3D effect. Some minor surface scratches are on the letters, and can be seen up close. On the lower right part of the sign it has some slight rust bubbling probably from the metal not being prepped properly at the factory. The bottom part of the sign is a darker green on the frame with some splotches of darker green on the bottom left. Great graphics and a great piece. 17638-WUT
