Imagine having this beautiful clock hanging in your store for selling Sauer’s products! That was just how it happened in the early 1900’s, as companies placed clocks and signs in popular stores as a way of advertising their products. This William L. Gilbert regulator clock features a painted metal face that looks great behind glass. Some minor wear and staining can be seen up close. The bottom half of the glass door features reverse painted gold leaf award seals from the U.S. and other countries. The gold leaf is in fantastic shape and features very little wear. The pendulum is included with the clock, as is the original windup key. Some slight marks can be seen on the outer wooden body of the clock, but does not detract from it’s beauty. 20507-QEWP
