Many collectors love displaying vintage oyster cans in their homes or offices. Eye-catching graphics, great colors, and all of them tell a story. One such can is from W. H. McGee & Co., located in Baltimore, Maryland, many years ago. It shows a graphic of a seal sitting on ice inside an oyster shell with “Seal Brand Raw Oysters” on the front. The can is marked MD. 28, McGee’s packing house health permit number, and features oyster recipes printed on the back of the can. Minor marks are on the can, with a few bends here and there. The original lid features graphics as well and is tightly attached. It measures 7.5 inches tall by 6.75 inches wide. 21343-QEP
