This is a Colonial Pattern and is marked with a Heisey Diamond “H” on the bottom. Known as the E.A.P.G. Horizontal, it was made from 1905 to 1911. Soda fountain straw holders were seen in many soda fountains over the years, but this neat one was used at a table setting rather than the fountain bar itself. By making the straw holder sit horizontally rather than stand vertically, it is much easier for patrons to take a straw. This glass holder is curved on the sides with four raised humps and a valley in the middle. The ends are circular with the same design on the sides.
