Great circa 1920 celluloid pinback button with a wonderful image of the old mission in San Gabriel, CA., and the inscription “Tilton’s Trolley Trip” around the edge. Tilton’s was part of the Pacific Electric Railway and advertised trips to local tourist attractions at “100 miles for 100 cents.” The button was manufactured by Whitehead & Hoag in Newark, NJ, and is in excellent condition with light scuffs and a couple spots of minor staining on the edge. 7588-21QE
