Dating from the late 19th century, this little spinner toy was a free premium, given to customers of the C. D. Kenny Company, a Baltimore, MD. grocer. It consists of a round steel base with a cardboard cover inscribed “Drink and Enjoy Kenny’s Teas Drink and Enjoy Kenny’s Coffees.” A weighted iron “spinner” protrudes out of the center. Just give it a twist and see how long it will spin. The toy measures about 2 1/4 inches in diameter by 1 1/4 inches tall and is in excellent condition with some wear and staining on the cardboard cover. Came from my personal collection. 3729-UT
