Established in Oklahoma City, Triple AAA Root Beer began in 1937 after its separation from Texas-based Triple XXX Root Beer. This large sign dates from the 1950s and features a large red octagon in the middle, similar to a stop sign, with a full, tilted bottle of Triple AAA on the right. It definitely is an attention-getter with its graphics, colors, and size! The “AAA” letters are embossed, as is the tilted bottle, and the outer frame is raised as well. It measures 33 inches tall by 57 inches wide and is marked “Stout Sign Co. St. Louis Mo.” along the right lower edge. Some minor dings and paint loss along the outer edges are evident, typical for this sign’s size. Some scratches are in the field, mainly on the left side. The gloss is sharp, and it really shines!
