Two 7UP Cardboard Fan Pull Die Cut Lithiated Lemon Soda

Before air conditioning was available, many general stores and country stores used ceiling fans to move air throughout the store. Companies saw this as another way to advertise, so they produced “fan pulls” that would fan from the fan and rotate with the air to catch customer’s attention. The die cut 7UP logo has great colors and would easily get the customer’s attention and remind them to grab a six pack of 7UP, and dates from the 1950’s. It is only printed on one side, and someone has written a price on it with initials in pencil and pen. The larger rectangle fan pull states “Lithiated Lemon Soda for Acidity Hang Overs” and is plain black ink over the white cardboard. It is missing the fan pull string and dates from the 1930’s. Two very neat items from days gone by! 18234-31EP
