A free promotional advertising item from the late 1920s or early 1930s, this jigsaw puzzle is an image of an automobile driver admonishing a kid with a wagon whom he has nearly hit on a rainy street. Across the top the puzzle is inscribed “‘Son – Those new U. S. Tires saved your life.’ Cog wheel traction means – safety. U. S. Tires … built with Tempered Rubber … Far Tougher, Miles Better.” The puzzle has been professionally matted and framed. With the frame it measures 16 3/8 inches tall by 16 7/8 inches wide and is in excellent condition with some light water staining and almost no wear. 17281-81RWT
