Produced by the Kemper-Thomas Company in Cincinnati, OH., this rare die-cut embossed cardboard calendar dates from the late 19th or early 20th century. It is decorated with an image of a beautiful Victorian lady, surrounded by cherry blossoms and art nouveau-style gilded trim, with a cherry hanging by its stem from her mouth. At the top, it is inscribed “Compliments Of F. A. Burnham Manufacturer and Wholesale and Retail Dealer in Fine Confectionery, 19 Main St., Saco, Me.” The advertising cardboard measures about 13 1/4 inches tall by 10 inches wide and is in excellent condition with minor edge wear.
