These whisk brooms were often seen in the cowboy movies and are great decorating pieces. Just the thing for sweeping up around your hearth or wood stove, this whisk broom has long grass bristles and a round oak handle and dates from the early Twentieth century. The grass is held onto the handle with coiled wire and was originally dyed red and green, most of which has faded away with time. The handle has been drilled and a leather thong has been attached for hanging.
