This 1940’s little brushed metal box was manufactured by Grammes in Allentown, PA. Designed to hold a small calendar or note pad, it is embossed on the lid and on a hinged panel under the lid “Whistle and Vess Beverages.” Perhaps it was on a bottling plant manager’s desk at one time. The box measures 3 3/4 inches tall by 5 3/4 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches deep and is in excellent condition with a little spotting and discoloration on the clear coated surface. 17497-81QRP
