This is a rare and original Wilbert W. Haase Company burial vault funeral home advertising display salesman sample. Funeral homes used this miniature scaled down version of a burial vault to show the product and answer any questions. It has a cutaway section on the front corner with a triangle sign which includes “Wilber Burial Vault” and patent numbers. Made of heavy plaster, it measures ten inches tall by seventeen and a half inches long by eight and a half inches wide. We date this from the 1940’s from the patent numbers listed inside. Some cracks are evident in the top of the burial vault, along with some missing black plaster on the inside of the lid. We cannot imagine many of these floating around, so if you collect salesman samples, make sure to add this to your collection! This is an oversized shippable item.
