Dating from the 1930’s this small celluloid sign comes from Amsterdam Broom company and would have hung near the broom display section in your local general store. The colors are amazing on this rare piece which has three types of brooms that were sold by Amsterdam at the time. Prize Broom, White Swan, and Gold Bond. In the center of this piece is a drawing of the Amsterdam Broom company located in Amsterdam, New York. On the back is the original rope that it hung from with a metal clasp to attach the ends. The corners of the sign have some damage, but don’t detract from the colors and rarity of this sign.
