Barber Pole Chewing Gum Die Cut Easel Back Store Display

Advertisement cards for products—referred to as trade cards—presented delightful imagery that consumers decided to preserve as keepsakes! This late 1800s Victorian advertisement/trade card is advertising Barber Pole Chewing Gum, with a well-dressed lady with flowers on her hat, at her waistline, and at the bottom of the card. This embossed paper piece measures 10.5 inches tall by 4.25 inches wide, with an easel back patented on Feb. 23, 1892.
