This rare embroidered linen pillow top is copyrighted 1904 and has a wonderful image of Buster Brown and his dog Tige. A panel in the upper left corner is inscribed “RESOLVED ! That I am just like everybody else – trying ‘To be good thought bad’ but it’s an uphill job with me ! BUSTER.” Buster is saying “I know it, and you know it, but – Tige, he don’t !” and Tige is replying “Does he try ?” The pillow top measures about twenty-two inches long by twenty-three inches wide and is in excellent condition with minor discoloration. 9301-41QPP
