We love to have a variety of signs for our customers to choose from, and this colorful Jaeger’s Butter-Nut Bread is one of them! Oswald Jaeger Bakery was located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was started in 1879. It was family owned until 1968 when it merged with Beatrice Foods. The words “Reach For..” and “Fresh Every Day” are all embossed, as is the loaf of Butter-Nut bread. The outer lip of this sign has a very small frame to it, and it is marked “A-M Sign Co., Lynchburg, VA., 4-54” in the lower right corner. The upper right corner of the sign has some rust, and that corner is missing. Some caulk has been added by a past owner in this area. Just below this corner there is another part of the frame that is missing from rust as well. The rest of the frame has some minor paint chipping and surface rust from the elements. A very thin scratch runs through the “B” in Butter-Nut and is about 4 inches long. 19020-RTP
