This rare little wooden top dates from the late 19th or early 20th century and was a free premium, given to customers, by C. D. Kenny Company, a Baltimore, MD. grocer. The top is inscribed “C. D. Kenny Co.” on a blue band around the center and is attached to a spring loaded wooden launcher. With the launcher it measures 2 1/2 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches in diameter and is in excellent working condition with some surface wear and paint loss from being played with.
