Coca Cola launched a Christmas advertising campaign that focused on Santa Claus wearing the corporate colors red and white in 1931, and since then Coke has been synonymous with the jolly fellow. This easel back Coca Cola store display features Santa relaxing while his elves serve him a well deserved dinner with a glass of Coke. The die cut sign reads “A Merry Christmas calls for Coke, and is marked “The Coca Cola Company, Litho In U. S. A.” in the lower left corner. This 1950s display is in excellent condition with minor areas of light rubbing in the center, with typical outer edge wear. It has been professionally matted and framed with an excellent gold frame that enhances the overall display. Some small dings can be seen in the gold frame.
