Short for Excellent Oxide, Exide began producing batteries in the late 1800s and is still in business today. This rare battery display stand would allow a service station to display three batteries to fit a customer’s needs. The sign itself was produced by Brilliant Mfg. Co., as marked in the lower right corner of each side. This rare sign features great graphics and is very hard to find in this condition. It has great colors and a nice gloss, with minor chipping around the outer edges, along with a few tiny scratches. It measures 11 inches tall by 13.75 inches wide, with a small bend or two along the bottom edge where it mounts to the metal rack. Complete dimensions are 36 inches tall, 19.75 inches wide, and 8.5 inches deep. No display would be complete without an original battery, right? An original 6-TS-13 Exide battery sits perfectly on the metal stand, creating a perfect display.
