Manufactured by Gilbert & Barker Manufacturing Company, this Gilbarco Model 994A gas pump was used from the late 1940s to the early 1950s and wears Esso colors. We date this pump to 1949 based on the information in “The Gas Pump Bible” book. It stands 58 inches tall by 27 inches wide, and is 18 inches deep. This example does not have a gas globe; it features a plate on top, typical of the model 994. The pump has undergone an older restoration and has held up nicely. Minor chips with paint loss are visible in a few areas. The glasses and signs are original; however, the hose is missing, but the gasoline nozzle is still attached. The chrome handles on the side of the pump have become oxidized over the years, and the aluminum trim has some minor dings. This pump is not a shippable item; it will require pickup at our location in Tasley, Virginia. 21357-QPPP
