The ideal serving set for a get together with friends and a definite conversation piece. Large oval platter, which comes with 6 matching individual plates, is decorated with a transfer image of a block of Neapolitan ice cream and a cloth napkin. The edges are decorated in powder blue and light brown with a light luster decoration. The set dates from the 1920s or 1930s and is in excellent condition with the exception of a quarter size chip on the edge of one of the plates. The pieces are unmarked so they are most likely American made. The plates measure 6 3/8 inches in diameter and the platter measures 9 inches tall by 12 inches wide.
