Pepsi-Cola’s ‘double dot’ logo (or the logo with the colon) was introduced in the early 1940s and lasted about a decade. Very few collectibles from this era remain today, making items like this Louis Marx toy truck a rare find. The delivery truck features a plastic body, metal axles, and hard rubber tires. The decals on the doors feature the Pepsi-Cola bottle cap logo and “Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company”; and the decals on the delivery body also feature the Pepsi-Cola bottle cap logo and “Bigger Better”. It also features a larger bottle cap logo on the rear of the body, with minor wear on the plastic from use and some slight decal wear. Six miniature Pepsi-Cola cases complete the motif.
