With mega stores and online shopping, small mom-and-pop stores and everything that makes them unique have disappeared. One such way was to give customers a calendar every year. This die-cut cardboard calendar top was a free giveaway for WM. V. Weber’s customers, who was a dealer in Staple And Fancy Groceries. The colorful piece features a sweet image of two children sharing a swing, all the while dressed in 18th-century French dress. It measures 11.5 inches tall by 6.5 inches wide and is in excellent condition. Some tearing in the finish just below the children’s feet, as the calendar was attached in this area. The piece has a fold to the children’s left but it does not detract from the image. It has been framed to display with ease. 16368-71WTP
