Dating from the mid 1920s, this rare Mohawk Tire sign is made of corrugated paper and may have been intended to be attached to a stack of tires originally. It is decorated with an image of red and yellow rays beaming off of a Mohawk Cord Balloon tire and is inscribed “Mohawks Go Farther !” at the bottom. The sign measures about 36 inches tall by 36 inches wide and is in good condition with wear on the edges, some splits, tear, and areas of loss on the pleated surface. Many of these signs did not survive, so it is very rare to find one still in tact over 100 years of age. It has been placed in a flat frame for display. 17501-11OUI
