Uncle Natchel was synonymous with Natural Chilean Soda, which was a fertilizer used by farmers. He was utilized in many way including calendars, notepads, signs, and even a syndicated radio series. This flange sign measures 15 inches tall by 21.5 inches wide and reads “Natural Chilean Soda” with a picture of Uncle Natchel on the right side. The colors are very nice on this double sided sign, and the gloss looks sharp. A few smaller chips with paint loss can be seen around the outer edge. The flange side has some very minor chips in the finish, and the opposite side has a few light scratches on the finish. This great sign which dates from the 1940s, is getting harder to find, so don’t delay. 20788-IWT
