Located in Wisconsin, Cedarburg Mutual Fire Insurance Company posted these “No Smoking” signs in business owners stores that were insured by Cedarburg Mutual. Cedarburg is just north of Milwaukee, for those wondering. Produced in the 1940’s to 1950’s, this colorful metal sign is bright yellow and red with flames on the bottom half of the sign. The border changes from red to yellow about halfway down the side of the sign where the colors change. It has six mounting holes around the sign with some minor chipping around the holes. A couple have been touched up by a previous owner. A couple small chips can be seen up close, along with some crazing in the finish of the sign. A scratch through the “No” and a small one just below the “k” in Smoking can also be seen. This sign has been framed to give you an easy way to display and to protect it for years. 18756-WPP
