Dating from the late 1930s or 1940s, this dark brown ironstone barrel-shaped beer mug is embossed on the front “Oertel’s Real-Lager,” a rarely found brand on these mugs. The mug measures 3 7/8 inches tall by about 4 inches wide with the handle and is in excellent condition with a tiny spot on the “S” that the glaze did not cover. 17454-81ET
