Aimed at the darker persona of Coca-Cola, Pepsi-Cola branded itself as “The Light Refreshment” during the 1950s, which provided a youthful, more energetic identity for its brand. This rare light-up cabinet sign features a well-dressed lady holding a glass of Pepsi in her left hand while casually pointing to Pepsi’s slogan, “The Light Refreshment,” with her right sign. While the cabinet is metal, the face is plastic, which allows Pepsi to accentuate its logo and character. The plastic face is very colorful and has no cracks. Some wear can be seen, along with a depression in the face. The Pepsi blue metal cabinet has some light scratches but is free of dents.
