A pair of circa 1930s photographs of the store front of Park Paint & Glass Co. in Waterloo, IA. before and after it was modernized with Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co. products. The original store front looks late 19th century and is quite dark. The updated version is very art deco in style with bright display windows and a relocated entry. The photos appear to be salesman’s examples and come with a sheet listing the Pittsburgh products used on the store front, especially the black and gray “Carrara” tiles.
