Polar Bar Restaurant Double Sided Wooden Sign Salisbury MD

Starting in 1948, the Polar Bar was the local hangout near downtown Salisbury, Maryland, and by the time it closed fifty years later, it was a landmark. This sign was the original double sided sign that was mounted to the roof, so customers could see it easily while driving down Main street. It stands ninety-six inches tall by forty-eight inches wide, and is made of wood. The sign is die cut and features a polar bear holding a sub in one arm and a fountain soda in the other. Some minor damage can be seen on the outer edges, along with some paint wear from being outside for years. Super cool piece that does require a 3rd party shipper.
