Circa 1900s – 1910s NOS die cut cardboard hanging sign with a colorful image of packages of Redford’s Navy Mixture in the center and the inscription “Smoke Redford’s Prize Navy Mixture, sold here.” One of the packages in the center is inscribed “This popular brand of tobacco is manufactured from a selection of choice Virginia, blended with other tobaccos of the finest growths. It will be found both cool and sweet smoking, and of exquisite flavour. We confidently recommend it to all pipe smokers who appreciate a tobacco of medium strength, and ask them to try it. Manufactured only by Redford & co., Exmouth St., Clerkenwell, London.” It is in excellent condition with a tiny bit of loss on the lower right edge. 12170-01WEP
