Great early celluloid 1930’s tape measure with both sides of this great piece has super advertising. One side has a picture of the factory where the stoves were manufactured and says “Home of the Kelley Stove Co.” Columbia, Lancaster Co. PA and the other side as the red, white and blue Columbia shield inside the big red “C” – Stoves, Ranges and Furnaces. Their distributor was Jacob Retterer, 159-161 W. Lake St., Chicago, Ill. The tape measure still works however, some housewife put a safety pin to replace the pull tab. Marked on the edge “The Whitehead & Hoag Co., Newark N.Y. 6420-01TE
