This rare St. Louis Crystal Water & Soda Co. thermometer, dating from the 1920s, features a porcelain finish and a lead-weighted bottom that allows it to stand easily. The graphic on the top is an excellent Lily framed by the business name “St. Louis Crystal Water & Soda Co.” The weighted base reads “Beverages and Liquors” and measures 2 inches wide. Overall, the porcelain thermometer stands 6 inches tall and is in excellent shape. The mercury tube is a replacement, as it does not fit correctly in the housing. A few chips are on the outer edges of the thermometer, along with a half-inch chip on the back of the base. You will love to have an excellent example in your collection!
