The Texas Company, or Texaco, was one of the largest oil companies in the United States in the early 20th century, and their iconic red star logo became synonymous with the American gas station experience. The porcelain no trespassing sign was displayed at a Texaco oil field in Richfield, California, and listed phone numbers to use if someone needed help. The sign has a nice glossy porcelain finish, with mounting grommets around the outer perimeter. Some small chips can be seen around the outer edge, along with a few marks in the lower right corner. Very nice sign that is seldom seen in this condition. 20370-RTP
