This clean one quart can is bright and would stand out on any country store shelf. It has gold and green stripes and red panels and dates from the 1930’s or 1940’s. On the front is an image of a man pouring boiling water on a table top with a lady looking on. The front is inscribed “Super Valspar Clear and in Colors” and the directions for use are on the back. This can appears to have held clear varnish. It measures about five inches tall by four and a half inches in diameter and is in excellent condition with minor nicks, scratches, and dings. 8591-31RP
