From its founding in 1919 until its dissolution in 1990, Allen-Morrison Sign Company manufactured metal signs for many firms, including major oil companies, Coca-Cola, and others. This Wolf’s Head metal flange sign is marked “AM 4-71”, which designates Allen-Morrison April 1971. The oval sign is fantastic in shape and stands out nicely from the typical square flanges most oil companies used at the time. It measures 22 inches tall by 17 inches wide and features identical copies on each side. The flange side shows some minor chips on the top edge, with a few scratches on the flange part, and rates an 8.9. The other side shows some touch-ups in the red logo, with some slight wear.
